Branch Technical Manager – Affordable Home Loan

Location : Andhra Pradesh, Telangana & Tamil Nadu

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Branch Technical Manager to lead and manage affordable home loan operations across branches in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Tamil Nadu. The ideal candidate will oversee the technical aspects of home loan processing, ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines, and drive business growth by coordinating between branches, customers, and internal teams. This role requires strong technical knowledge, operational expertise, and leadership skills to manage and optimize the affordable housing loan portfolio effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Credit Assessment:

Oversee day-to-day branch technical operations related to affordable home loans.
Ensure timely and accurate processing of home loan applications, verification, and approvals.

Technical Evaluation:

Conduct detailed technical assessments of properties submitted for home loan approval.
Coordinate with surveyors, valuers, and legal teams to ensure property eligibility and compliance.

Compliance & Documentation:

Ensure strict adherence to internal policies, RBI guidelines, and regulatory requirements for home loans.
Supervise documentation accuracy, verification, and proper record-keeping.

Team Leadership & Coordination:

Lead and guide branch teams to meet targets and maintain high service standards.
Work closely with sales, credit, legal, and operations teams to streamline processes and improve turnaround time.

Customer Relationship Management:

Address escalations related to technical evaluations or loan processing delays.
Support customer queries and ensure a smooth loan journey for affordable housing customers.

Reporting & Analysis:

Prepare and present regular reports on loan processing status, portfolio quality, and branch performance.
Analyze trends and suggest process improvements for efficiency and risk mitigation.

Qualifications and Skills

Education:

Graduate/Postgraduate in Engineering, Finance, or relevant discipline.
Additional certifications in housing finance or credit appraisal are a plus.

Experience:

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in housing finance, loan processing, or branch technical management, preferably in affordable housing loans.
Experience working in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, or Tamil Nadu regions is preferred.

Technical Knowledge:

Strong understanding of property valuation, legal documentation, and home loan underwriting processes.
Familiarity with government affordable housing schemes and compliance regulations.

Communication & Leadership:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and regional languages (Telugu, Tamil).
Proven ability to lead teams, coordinate cross-functionally, and manage stakeholder relationships.

Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:

Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills to assess risk and operational efficiency.
Ability to troubleshoot issues and provide practical solutions swiftly.

Computer Skills:

Proficiency in MS Office, loan management software, and digital tools used in home loan processing.
