Branch Manager – Sales (Affordable Home Loans)

Location : Branches across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana & Tamil Nadu

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and result-driven Branch Manager – Sales to lead the affordable home loan business at the branch level. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the branch’s performance, leading a sales team, developing strong market presence, and ensuring business growth in the affordable housing segment. This role involves team management, customer engagement, process oversight, and achieving disbursement targets in alignment with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

Branch Sales Leadership:

Manage overall sales operations of the branch for affordable home loan products.
Lead a team of Relationship Managers and Team Leaders to achieve monthly and quarterly disbursement targets.

Business Development:

Drive customer acquisition through direct sourcing, builder/channel partner relationships, and local marketing initiatives.
Identify new business opportunities in the affordable housing segment.

Team Management & Training:

Recruit, mentor, and motivate the sales team to enhance productivity and sales effectiveness.
Conduct regular reviews, training sessions, and performance evaluations.

Customer Relationship Management:

Ensure high customer satisfaction through effective communication, quick turnaround time, and resolution of queries or grievances.
Monitor quality of sourcing to ensure low delinquency and portfolio health.

Process & Compliance Oversight:

Ensure complete and accurate documentation from customers and sales teams.
Coordinate with credit, legal, and technical teams for seamless loan processing and disbursal.
Maintain branch-level compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.

Market Intelligence & Reporting:

Analyze local market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies.
Prepare and share daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports with senior management.

Qualifications and Skills

Education:

Graduate in any discipline (MBA or PGDM preferred)

Experience:

5–8 years of experience in housing finance, banking, or NBFCs
Minimum 2–3 years in a leadership or branch management role
Prior experience in affordable home loan sales is highly preferred

Leadership & Team Skills:

Strong people management skills and experience leading large field sales teams
Ability to motivate, coach, and drive performance under pressure

Sales Acumen:

Target-oriented with a proven track record in business development and customer acquisition
Strong relationship-building skills with customers, builders, and external partners

Regional Language Skills:

Proficiency in English and local languages (Telugu and/or Tamil)
Deep understanding of regional markets and customer behavior

Technology Skills:

Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and loan management systems
