Manager / Assistant Manager – Central Operations

Job Summary
We are looking for a highly efficient and detail-oriented Manager / Assistant Manager – Central Operations to support and streamline operational processes across the organization. The ideal candidate must come exclusively from the Home Finance / Housing Finance sector, with strong expertise in loan operations, credit administration, documentation, disbursements, and post-sanction processes. The role requires a deep understanding of housing loan products, regulatory requirements, system workflows, and operational controls.
Key Responsibilities
Loan Processing & Sanction Support
Oversee end-to-end post-sanction operational activities for home loans.
Review loan documentation, sanction conditions, legal/technical reports, and ensure accuracy before disbursement.
Manage file movement and coordinate with credit, sales, legal, and technical teams to ensure compliance with internal policies.
Disbursements & Loan Account Setup
Ensure timely and accurate home loan disbursements as per approved terms, conditions, and stage-wise requirements.
Verify eligibility, property documentation, repayment schedules, borrower KYC, and sanction limits before account creation in LOS/LMS.
Manage coordination for part disbursements associated with construction-linked home loans.
Lifecycle Management & Operations
Oversee loan account modifications, rate revisions, EMI resets, tenure changes, and foreclosure processing.
Manage periodic operations including cheque handling, NACH setup, ECS mandates, and repayment instrument validations.
Ensure accurate processing of prepayments, part-payments, refunds, and subsidy-related entries (PMAY if applicable).
Compliance, Controls & Audit Readiness
Ensure full adherence to HFC-specific operational guidelines, NHB norms, KYC regulations, and internal SOPs.
Prepare and maintain audit-ready documents and support internal/external audits.
Strengthen internal controls to reduce operational risks and ensure process standardization.
Coordination & Process Improvement
Liaise with branches, credit teams, business teams, and centralized operations units to ensure smooth workflow.
Identify gaps in processes and participate in automation initiatives in LOS/LMS or RPA tools.
Contribute to continuous improvement in turnaround times (TAT), accuracy, and customer experience.
Qualifications and Skills
Education: Graduate / Postgraduate in Any field
Experience: 3–8 years of experience in Central Operations of a Home Finance / Housing Finance Company (mandatory).
Strong understanding of:
Housing loan products (HL, LAP, Home Improvement Loans, Construction Loans)
Post-sanction processes and disbursement controls
LOS/LMS workflows used in the HFC environment
Regulatory requirements under NHB/RBI for HFCs
Strong analytical, documentation, and coordination skills.
Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, operations MIS, and workflow tools.
Ability to handle high-volume transactions with speed and accuracy.
