What is overdue amount in a loan?
The amount which is not paid or debited from the bank account on the due date of payment of monthly instalments is known as the overdue amount in a loan.
What happens if you don’t pay your loan on time?
If the borrower has not paid the instalment amount on due date, Nestavia will offer a grace period to the borrower to pay overdue amount but after charging bounce charges of Rs.500 + GST plus overdue interest along with the instalment amount. If the borrower fails to pay before the next reporting date to the credit bureau, then the borrower will be reported as a defaulter.
What is Pay Online service?
Nestavia gives all the borrowers a digital option of paying the overdue amount through a debit card or through any other banking channel mode like NEFT or UPI. This facility is known as Pay Online service.
How do I make a payment through Pay Online service?
To avail the service of Pay Online service, follow the following steps
- Click on the “Pay Now” Button at the end of this FAQs
- Upon clicking the “Pay Now” Button, it will take you to SBI Collect page
- Type the name as “Nestavia” and then Select “Nestavia Home Finance Private Limited”
- Then type the necessary details for the loan account for which the overdue payment is being made now
- Pay your overdue loan amount by using your debit card or logging in to your bank website
Is Pay Online service secured?
Yes, click to pay option is the most secured and the easiest option available to the borrower as it is secured through 128 bits SSL and payment is directly handled by State Bank of India on their website.
Is there any charge for using Pay Online service?
Yes, there will be convenience fee charged by State Bank of India for providing this service.
What are the benefits of Pay Online service?
The borrower now is not required to write any cheques or come to the nearest branch of Nestavia or stand in a queue at a bank branch for making the overdue payment. They can pay overdue online instantly. It is the fastest and most convenient option available.
Can I make my overdue payments through Pay Online service if my asset is surrendered or repossessed?
No, in this instance, the borrower must visit their nearest branch office for payment of the overdue amount.
